keep seeing old names appear in the forum chatter and I remember them yet I cant remember the toons they had in game or RL names. so, who is still around who I spent time with on Terra and Uranus??

Clans: Deathrow , Regulators, APAS, sYn , Ncat, Unforgiven , Nc Elite , Cobra, LARD, F.E.T.I.S.H , sorry if I missed anyone out, its been about 10 years since I last clocked in.

Cant remember all my toons.

NST Testing Event

Event: Weapon, Resists & Class testing on the test server - Saturday 3rd October @ 8pm GMT

All are invited to come and help test all the changes to weapons, resists and class changes that have been made recently. I'll be there to help with instant heals & rez and to gather feedback directly.

Ideally I'd like to see specific match ups between all classes to see how each fairs against each other. Therefore if you are able to set up multiple characters that would be appreciated!

Everyone who attends will receive x2 event tokens on a Titan character of your choice!

Can't load main.

Cant seem to load my main into J 01-mb
My alt seems to load fine.
I just get a "world client rejected by nethost bad world path"
I have tried a repair and a reinstall.
anyone got any ideas?

  • Increased the spawn-chance for "Big Soulcluster" by 20% (Worm Tunnels);
  • Added more spawn-points for "Big Soulcluster" (Worm Tunnels);
  • Scout drones are now labelled as 'agressive' (You can't use it in safe-zones anymore);

Wrong client version but playing anyway

I've been trying to get the client working on my pc (linux) and managed to get it to load finally by getting a friend to send me a copy of his install directory from a windows PC.

When trying to login it said that the client version was wrong and I couldn't login. I thought i'd try the tutorial just to make sure everything was working as it should be. I launched the client with the PlayTutorial flag and played through it. When you get shot by the copbots at the end it just logged me into one of my charecters on the live server and there I was running around MB.

I guess I shouldn't have been able to do that.

  • Added a new Wisdom of Ceres Mission to the Gameworld, called "Pertken's Third Hand", which you can start in Tech Haven Sector 2*;
  • Added a new Wisdom of Ceres Mission to the Gameworld, called "A vehicle is all I need", which you can start at Desert Racetrack;
  • Removed weather effect "Rain" from all Headquarters;
  • Altered loot in Mech Haven;
  • Altered Spawn in Mech Haven;
  • Altered Boss in Mech Haven;
  • You don't need a poker anymore to implant your tradeskill glove, just a 'Personal Implant Tool';
  • Stamina Booster v4 is now working as intended;

*Only Constructor and Researcher can start this mission!

  • Balancing
  • Wisdom of Ceres Powerarmour
    • Lowered Resist;
    • Lowered Combatskills;
    • Changed the Monk malus from 'Agility' to 'Athletics';
    • Removed 'Athletics' malus from the Private Eye Powerarmour;

  • Multi Lightning PSI modules animation changed to match Multi Energy Bolt animation;




Technical & Client Updates



  • Fixed a bug with 'Multi-Lightning Bolt' PSI modules which could lead to client freezes and crashes;

Hi dev team,

I used to be super invested in NC and even back on the NC1 forums I'd been submitting ideas to the brainport (although mostly terrible ones back then when I was 14). I haven't played or been involved with NC in years because of life, but today I stumbled across a Let's Play by Kane, and I saw that the Mc5 newbie quest guys from a post I submitted like 8-9 years ago were actually implemented.

I know it's nothing crazy or game-altering but I gotta say, I've always wanted to actually contribute something to NC and now I feel like I actually have (though it was you guys using your time to painstakingly do all the actual real work lol). I loved the shacks/stalls with Wesley/Geordi, awesome. Nice to see we have some TNG fans on the team too as it's one of my favorite shows :)

I don't know if I'll ever actually return to NC, but just wanted to say thank you so much for adding these in and thanks for your continued work and keeping NC alive :)

Pertken's Third Hand - Can't start mission

As title says, Doc Pertken just tells me my rough hands.....

I have 153 CST (base), 235 CST with IMPS and glove..

Bugged or is there minimum CST (base) requirement that THN mission guide doesn't tell you?

I've tried hacking the belt at K_13 with a different char, but it's empty every time.

Much obliged for any help given.

ich glaub... es sind mehr als 10 Jahre vergangen als ich das letzte Mal in die digitale Welt von Neocron eingetreten bin.
Es existiert noch?
Sind ünberhaupt noch die alten Hasen da?
Erinnert sich jemand an meinen Charackter Jessica Gaban/ Adam Goreman? ...Damals auf dem Server Mars.

Ich hab das Gefühl, man ist so alt geworden...

Wird noch RP betrieben auf dem neuen Server?

Chars got stuck somewhere

Hi,

upon Char creation, they seem to got stuck somewhere.

The Char-Slot is shown open (=free), but the names are gone (reseverd), otherwise I would of just repeated the process of creating them.

Anyone still doing any support here and would it be possible to retrieve those Chars, or at least open up for the names?

Tickets are open ingame.

Wastelands Update: Phase 1

Hey all, I've finished the first section of the wastelands update and would like to invite you all to test it out. You'll need a combat character between /41 - /45ish to get the most relevant testing as any higher and the rewards won't be scaled so well for you and lower cannot start the mission chain. All Axx, Bxx, Cxx & Dxx zones updated and these include: - All wasteland mob ranks increased (a chart will follow with suggested player ranks for each zone) - The location and types of mobs that spawn are all updated (e.g. each sector is made up of areas and a particular mob type will occupy that area - some areas overlap and conflict between NPCs can break out at times) - Some additional buildings, decorations, etc placed so please explore ;) - Removed random obstructions from the road - there are one or two deliberate NPC roadblocks though - Wastelands should feel more dangerous to just run in a straight line through and using the roads / vehicles should feel more beneficial - OP layouts changed Additionally, a new group has been introduced call the "Pathfinders". This NPC group becomes a loosely structured mission path to guide progress through the wastes. The rewards for the missions give XP to your main skills (e.g. a Tank gets rank appropriate amounts of STR and CON XP from the missions) and a shiny weapon for your class. Please begin your journey at OZ Station where some new NPCs are waiting to greet you!
